He remembers, „All I can recall is picking up my acoustic guitar, and the entire song downloaded into my spirit in less than an hour.“ Another memorable moment came when he first played the demo for his friend Steve Maxwell, a former vocalist for the Christian group Acappella. „Steve’s reaction startled me a bit. I thought he had heard it before, but that was not the case. “Everything I Own” has never been released as a radio single until now. It is set to be promoted as a crossover Christian/R&B track, with Tunecore distributing a remastered radio-edited version on March 20, 2025.
