Erzähl uns von dir, wer bist du und woher kommst du?

I’m SÖNŌRÉ, I’m an American singer-songwriter and record producer with roots in singer-songwriter pop. My music, known for its introspective lyrics, began to evolve as I delved into EDM with my EDM group. Later, my solo work embraced pop music. My sound is a blend of genres, each song carrying a message of depth and authenticity. I grew up in New Haven and Hamden, Connecticut around a diverse mix of genres. I began writing songs as young as ten and began experimenting with music production around twelve.

Wie wurde deine Leidenschaft für Musik geboren? Wer sind deine Vorbilder?

My passion for music was born mainly out of personal experience. A lot of sad songs I write are based on an actual event or predicament that has happened in my life or has been inspired by one. Most of the time. I also write music with an inspirational message that I hope inspire and help people.

Welche Art von Musik machst du?

I create singer-songwriter music. Music with lyrics that are relatable. I love adding big choruses and harmonies. I like adding elements that sound cinematic and orchestral. I also love giving my listeners a spatial, atmospheric audio experience.

Was ist der wichtigste Song für dich? Welche Botschaft willst du den Zuhörern vermitteln?

The song closest to my heart… I don’t think I’ve released yet. But a song I really relate to by another artist would be „Change“ by „NF“. For the message of self-improvement and a static goal.

Warum sollte ein Hörer, der dich nicht kennt, deine Musik hören?

Why? Because eventually I want to have a full catalog one day of songs that a bunch of people can relate to. Even if it’s just one song. Also I try to spread a message or hope, inspiration, and healing. You won’t just be joining me, you’ll be joining a family.

Was sind deine zukünftigen Projekte? Wo siehst du dich in 5 Jahren?

Eventually I would like to drift into mainstream pop to achieve a full scale audience that understands and relates to my music and it’s message. I would also like to collaborate and write with bigger singers, songwriters, and producers.
