Erzähl uns von dir, wer bist du und woher kommst du?

I am Rikky Schumann. I live in Göttingen, Germany. The R.S.B. (Rikky Schumann Band) is a multi-genre project i started with Katja (Synthesizer and Brass) The new single is with italian singer Jenny Dolly, a wonderful, dreamy voice.

Wie wurde deine Leidenschaft für Musik geboren? Wer sind deine Vorbilder?

The first music was played to me by my father. Mostly Johnny Cash, Bill Haley and Elvis. Later the Kinks and Beatles influenced me. As a teen i joined a punk band as a guitarist, later i played bebop jazz and now i listen to all kinds of music.

Welche Art von Musik machst du?

Multigenre. Every song i write gets the style that suits the message best. Sometimes Rock, sometimes Blues, Synthpop or Folk.

Was ist der wichtigste Song für dich? Welche Botschaft willst du den Zuhörern vermitteln?

„Into This Now“ It tells the story of passion, love and mistakes.

Warum sollte ein Hörer, der dich nicht kennt, deine Musik hören?

The R.S.B. music is never boring and ever changing. A multiverse of change.

Was sind deine zukünftigen Projekte? Wo siehst du dich in 5 Jahren?

We will produce a song with a famous producer to reach more audience for our songs.

Of course when our singer got offered a pill before a gig by a stranger who had a bunch of pills inhis hand. The singer took all and swallowed them. The stranger was shocked and told us to observe the singer while the gig. It has been a crazy gig and the audience loved the strange moves and looks of our singer.
