Tell us about yourself, who are you and where do you come from?

Hello, we are a duo living in Sydney. Aesu does vocals, lyrics and all the promo. Dj Ikhessat produces music. We both are crazy about retro electronic, mystical and dark stuff.

How was your passion for music born? Who are your idols?

Aesu started playing piano when she was 7. Dj Ikhessat began playing synth and making computer music at the age of 15. We don’t like creating idols but our music is definitely influenced by the famous eurodance and synthwave bands of the 90-ies.

What kind of music do you do?

Well we make melodic retro electronica with dark lyrics, a fusion of syhtnwave, eurodance and techno.

What is the most important song for you? What message do you want to convey to the listener?

Honestly, the whole album “My Possession”. Just listen to it! Evil begets only evil – that’s the main idea between the lines.

Why should a listener who doesn’t know you listen to your music?

Because it makes you think. About life, about death, about your place in the world, about something bigger than material things.

What are your future projects? Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

We’re going to reveal more of Izabella’s story to show people that darkness, egoism, evil is not the way out, and the only way out is love.

Tell our readers a funny episode that happened in your career as an artist.

Don’t know if it’s funny but interesting for sure. Two our tracks came to me in my dreams. A just woke up with clear melodies playing in my head and recorded them.
