Mephisto Odyssey Featuring Wayne Static (Static-X) to Release

New LOST TRACK “CRASH REBORN” 2025

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Wayne Static and Mephisto Odyssey’s Lost Track CRASH Reborn: A New Era in Industrial

Rock

Los Angeles, CA — Wayne Static’s iconic legacy continues in 2025 with the rebirth of this

legendary track, CRASH Reborn. This intense, industrial rock revival (thought to be lost in time)

features an electrifying collaboration with Mephisto Odyssey (Mikael Johnston), Koichi Fukuda

of Static-X and Brad Gillis of Ozzy Osbourne.

This teaser of the upcoming video for the song directed by Len Wiseman (Underworld) and

William Instone (Butcher’s Bluff) on 35mm film, promises a darker, sharper, and heavier

soundscape, blending cyber-industrial rhythms with fierce new energy.

Set for release later this year on Rhino/Warner Music, CRASH Reborn (thought to of been lost

and only recently found) builds on Wayne Static and Mephisto Odyssey’s groundbreaking

work, drawing inspiration from giants like Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Rammstein and

Ministry.

Crash Reborn is a departure for Mephisto Odyssey with it’s heavier industrial rock feel, mixture

of live and electronic drums, massive detuned guitars and techno laden synths combined with

the iconic sound of Wayne Static in his prime. This never before released alternate version of

Crash and it’s video (originally written to promote a Batman film) has never been heard or seen

before.
