A passionate gospel track, God is On Your Side is a message of hope and faith, reflecting God’s unwavering support and presence in the lives of believers. The song emphasizes two powerful truths: God stands right beside us in our struggles and triumphs, and He desires the best for us, offering blessings with no sorrow attached. This message resonates deeply with Proverbs 10:22, which says, “The blessings of the Lord bring true riches, and He adds no sorrow to it.”
In 2023, Grace Aggrey-Fynn, based in Accra, Ghana, composed God is On Your Side, drawing from her own spiritual journey and desire to share God’s love through music. Early in 2024, she began seeking funding to record the track, eventually turning to the Christian crowdfunding platform, GiveSendGo. Though her initial efforts to raise money fell short, a surprising twist occurred in June when Grace entered a giveaway hosted by GiveSendGo. Sharing a heartfelt video testimony about her interest in the crowdfunding site, she was chosen as one of five winners, receiving $1,200, part of which she spent to record the song.
Grace recalls, “Initially, I thought, ‘I never win anything,’ but I decided to step out in faith, and God truly came through. This song is a testimony to His goodness in my life.”
