Doomsday Machine, the new album by “Dario Amini Music”, is finally available, an explosive work that blends Hard Rock, Rock and Progressive influences in a powerful and compelling mix. Written and sung by Dario Amini himself, who also played some rhythm guitars, the album draws inspiration from the legendary sounds of Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix, while maintaining a unique and personal identity.
The concept of “Doomsday Machine” explores universal and evocative themes: from nostalgia to the mystery of the unknown, from resilience to the search for oneself. Each song represents an intense journey between powerful sounds and more reflective moments, enriched by evocative lyrics and top-level instrumentation.
The production and arrangement of the album were entrusted to Fulvio Gaslini, a versatile musician who, in addition to playing bass and some guitars in the project, also took care of the drum parts. He boasts a very respectable career, former bassist of Crossbones, he has collaborated with numerous recording projects, including The Cage, Giuntini Project, Voodoo Hill and Simulacrum Lab, working alongside artists of the caliber of Don Airey and Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple) and Tony Martin (Black Sabbath).
On guitar we find Fabio Rossi, a talented musician and student of Maestro Alessio Menconi. His style ranges from Rock, Blues and acoustic sounds, demonstrating a unique versatility. He has collaborated with numerous artists, including Maestro Danilo Ballo, historic arranger of Pooh since 2000 and currently busy on tour as a keyboard player and co-artistic director of the band.
