jordan ancrum was born february 16 1994 in savannah ,georgia is an american soul/r and b singer songwriter known for his heartfelt storytelling and smooth vocals. his early influences are Curtis mayfield,Marvin gaye and Raphael saadiq ,also john Lennon and Prince helped shaped his musical identity. Jordan Ancrum recently released an album called “its hot in the summer” on June 9. And his another album coming in Winter 2026

Jordan Ancrum is a soulful singer songwriter from Savannah Georgia, who channels the influence of legendary musicians into modern day r&b soul records with multiple albums and amazing singles already out and a growing voice in the scene. As he continues to evolves , he will always be a grandson of soul.

Hoe is je passie voor muziek ontstaan? Wie zijn je idolen?

when I was able to make sounds with my hand beating on the desk. its a long story that I would love to tell on the interview. my idols are : curtis mayfield, raphael saddiq , prince, john lennon, michael jackson , new edition,Stephanie mills,Chaka khan, the music of the 60s,70s,80s.

Wat voor soort muziek maak je?

I do soul , retro soul , neo soul, funk and lil bit of hip hop. the organic feel of the past into a modern day topics and being able to feel to express the real love, real life into music.

Wat is voor jou het belangrijkste nummer? Welke boodschap wil je overbrengen aan de luisteraar?

I love all my songs , they all are important , I feel like I am one of many who are a median of the source to create songs with a feel good and thought provoking songs

its breath of fresh air, I dont sound like no one else, something new but vintage to the soul

Wat zijn je toekomstige projecten? Waar zie je jezelf over 5 jaar?

I have new album coming out in the winter season of 2026. called “ASE”. where do I see myself in 5 years, still making music and doing what Iove to do. create music and have it be the soundtrack of people life. and staying indie
