Dance Through Dystopia:
Red Cavalry release Democracy Died EP
With unique sound & lyricism that harks to the classic age of College Rock, Welsh rockers Red Cavalry invite you all to Dance Through Dystopia with their new Democracy Died EP release. Following the success of their late 2024 single ‘Give Me a Sign’ receiving the unusual feat of tens of thousands of plays on Spotify from an independent artistic, Red Cavalry have released their melodic and topical Democracy Died EP.
The Democracy Died EP has produced a uniquely fun take on the topics of today, without taking a party political or addressing people, making it an accessible and engaging release.
The EP’s title track and single ‘Democracy Died’ in particular has been singled out by critics as ‘Fun and Bouncy’ but more importantly as ‘the right tune at the right time’. This has seen the song already picked up by college radio on both coasts of the US and by local radio stations in the UK and Canada as well as already becoming Red Cavalry’s best-selling release (a feat achieved on release day).
Red Cavalry said of their EP: ‘While we believe we’ve produced one of the catchiest & most danceable political songs ever in ‘Democracy Died’. Most of all we believe the EP is a great pop record with a unique sound that blends the topical with the melodic in a way most people will enjoy.
