No Where Records presents “Silence Is In Vogue,” the powerful new single from Sonic Panda, who this time join forces with veteran synth-wave act Oblique to deliver a sharp-edged satire on social hypersensitivity and the growing polarization of contemporary society.
Blending industrial, synth-wave, and electronic pop, “Silence Is In Vogue” stands out as one of the most original and danceable releases of the summer. The track preserves Sonic Panda’s signature gothic aesthetic and provocative attitude, enriched by Oblique’s melodic elegance and unmistakable identity.
The song was written by Pere Ibañez and produced by Carlsed, the creative force behind all of Sonic Panda’s hits to date. Oblique—longtime collaborators with Carlos Bayona and OBK—contribute not only shared vocal duties but also play an active role in the track’s production.
The release is completed by an exclusive remix from Matt Pop, one of the most respected names in contemporary electronic pop, known for his work with artists such as Erasure, Ace of Base, and more recently on Fangoria’s album “La verdad o la imaginación.”
“Silence Is In Vogue” also serves as the first official preview of Neomelodrama, Sonic Panda’s highly anticipated debut album, scheduled for release in October and promising to feature several surprise collaborations. Meanwhile, Oblique have just released their latest album, “Until There’s Nothing Left.”
A standout feature of the release is its audiovisual concept. Rather than a single music video, each version included in the EP is accompanied by its own visual piece. All three videos share the same narrative premise but unfold with completely different endings, resulting in an experience that is absurd, darkly humorous, and highly entertaining.
“Silence Is In Vogue” is available on all major digital platforms, as well as in limited-edition vinyl and CD formats. Physical editions will include an exclusive comic book created by Pere Ibañez, expanding the visual and narrative universe surrounding the release.
