FAQ

My song doesn’t sound like I want it to, can you help?

Absolutely! It depends what stage you’re at with the project. If you have taken your song as far as you can and it’s not quite right, please message us. We can do additional recording as well as production/arranging if needed to make your song great before we mix and master. Fees will apply.

What do we need to mix and master your track?

All we need from you is:
STEMS: Full WAV audio files (sometimes other audio files are acceptable) of
– All Vocals
– The Beat or beat stems if you have access to them
– A rough mix of what you’ve been listening to
– Up to 3 reference tracks of how you want your song to sound

What is “limited editing”?

Limited editing includes taking out unnecessary breaths, lining up vocals that are slightly off, removing small plosives, removing minimal room noise. If your track needs additional editing, please don’t hesitate to ask.

What is a “premium master”?

We use our cutting-edge techniques, and world-class audio gear to create a three dimensional, totally immersive, polished master file that is ready for record labels, management, or world-wide distribution.

Is it possible to be part of the mixing process real-time?

Absolutely! We have the ability to send a live stream of our mix while we are mixing so you can be as involved as you would like in the process. Please message us with any questions. Additional fees apply for all packages except the “Diamond Package”.

Why is vocal tuning an additional cost?

Vocal tuning is something that can make or break a song… We use cutting-edge techniques and multiple pieces of software in unison to create commercially tuned vocals for any project.

I need help recording my vocals, can you all help?

Of course! We have worked with numerous artists who have recorded in many different situations. We can work together with you to get the best recordings possible, wherever you are. High quality recordings make all the difference in getting a great mix and master.

Why analog gear, won’t plugins do the job?

Analog gear is essential to the feeling of music. Plugins digitally re-create the audio and emulate this expensive gear. We use our analog gear to warm up, compress and EQ all tracks that we work on, whether home studio or commercial recordings. We aim to create timeless music with timeless gear.
