Where Independent Music Finds Its Voice

I am a Spanish DJ and Co-producer whose initial career dates back to 1998. I started very young in the nightlife world and, when I became a DJ, I was initially very shocked to see so many people from many parts of the world vibrating to the rhythm of the music that I mixed or remixed. It was impressive for such a young boy at the time.

My passion for music began thanks to my older brother who, when I was almost a baby, left me alone for a few minutes with an old Akai music system, and there I began to unpack and make my future career ha, ha, ha. I have always been a fan of singers like Michael Jackson, Michael Fortunati, Phil Collins, Marian Dacal, Ku Minerva or Sia, and also of DJs like Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Frank Trax or Markus Schulz, for example. Today, I keep in touch with several of them, they are great.

Quel genre de musique fais-tu ?

Mainly Trance Music, but also Dance Music and Techno Music. Nowadays, I have created a new subgenre (New Erotic Trance) that is impressing and exciting people all over the world since this summer. Songs like ‘Sex with your shadow’ or ‘Sonia’ are being talked about a lot in many parts of the world in such a short time. That’s fantastic!

Quel message veux-tu transmettre à l'auditeur ?

Well, I think ‘Up World!’. It is the song that has managed to convert me and it is a super intense song with which, in some way, I also wanted to shout at that moment ‘Now! Up World!’ ‘Up World’ is about the need for a better, more united world, where music is our best universal language. The song encourages everyone to step away from the shadows of deception and manipulation, and to always look up and dance.

Well, maybe because my style is super genuine. I have been an original creator since I won a first literary prize in my country as a child. That’s when, during the delivery, they said: ‘Take good care of this child, he has a lot of imagination’, ha ha.

Quels sont tes projets futurs ? Où te vois-tu dans 5 ans ?

One project is precisely a remix of a song that, thanks to you, is available on your website today: ‘Almería Nights’. It will be released in November or December, expectedly. Regarding the second question, it is difficult to know, but I would love to share musical events with other artists from around the world, whether live, radio, TV, festivals, etc. I’d love to…

Well, so many have happened! Ha, ha, ha! A curious episode was, for example, when a girl entered through a small window where I was performing. The security guy didn’t know how to stop her, and I laughed really hard and said, ‘Leave her, she just wants to ask for a song, right?’ Ha, ha, ha. It was funny.
