Tell us about yourself, who are you and where do you come from?

Heyy this is ESKICI who is a twenty nine years old producer coming from Turkey.

How was your passion for music born? Who are your idols?

I grew up with Swedish House Mafia and Daft Punk records in my high school days. In my high school days also the first year of the university,i was studying architecture and i was drawing with listening them!Always listening and discovering new tracks since back then one of my singer friend asked me like, why don’t you do your own tracks? So i tried and started to make my own tracks with his advice. I could say these are my idols also i love Oliver Heldens works.Actually i am thinking sometimes like our minds are working on the same path when it comes production.

What kind of music do you do?

I just do what i like actually i do not like to stick for genres if i dont have to..However it is generally a combination of Tech House,Deep House,Future House and Techno in my recent works.

What is the most important song for you? What message do you want to convey to the listener?

I could say my track “Hold On” with Pauline Mancini.Technically,it can not be the most valuable track for me but before ESKICI,i had a break to finish my architecture classes.Hold On was the first track when i graduated from the university and the whole process was about our lifes with my lovely songwriter friend Pauline Mancini. So i could say “Hold On” but also new track of mine “Cardboard” is kind of the entrance of an underground danceable area. That is why the answers can change for the future!

Why should a listener who doesn’t know you listen to your music?

I could say from the beginning as a DJ/producer,the first thing i’ve analyzed was the quality of the all process for making a great records.Music is about taste and experience most of the time and i guess i am getting day by day and i do not get bored of making music for my friends! They are not just listeners for me.When they follow me,listen my records,we are actually sharing the same table, becoming integrated!

What are your future projects? Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

I have lots of projects for sure also collaborations with many artists!I got supported from the biggest artists and labels and i hope many more will come.I can not predict the future but i have some dreams like everyone.

Tell our readers a funny episode that happened in your career as an artist.

Hahaha of course! When i was Djing, there were no setup for their club and i brought my little controller for the gig. However the problem was my laptop’s screen was broken and i got shy to took it with me.Then i ask my friend’s laptop and he gave it also he came with me for the show. Before the hour of show i noticed that i forgot to log out to the software on my laptop and my laptop is far away from me.I saved the night with another software but the gig delayed like half an hour.My friend was telling me like,if you are not one of my best friend i am sure that i would run away! That was a real chaotic,at the same time funny night for me!
