Tom Melsen Interview – He is the dark yet also comical songwriter

Melsen emphasizes that he doesn’t aim to convey a specific message through his music; he is satisfied if listeners simply enjoy his songs. He believes Poetspotting’s music stands out for its variety and the freedom he feels in writing, not limiting himself to themes of love or break-ups.
Looking to the future, Melsen hopes to have more music released and to gain a larger audience. He is also working on a poetry book, which he finds challenging but rewarding. Reflecting on his career, Melsen shares an amusing anecdote about encountering eccentric individuals in the cultural world as a painter.
