Klyn Z (real name Daniel Amedu) is a fast-rising Afrobeat and trap artist from Benin City, Nigeria, currently carving his own lane in the global music scene. Known for his emotionally-charged lyrics, smooth delivery, and genre-blending sound, Klyn Z delivers a raw mix of vulnerability, energy, and street-smart storytelling.
Growing up shy and soft-spoken, Klyn Z found early comfort in music as both therapy and self-expression. He was inspired by artists like Drake, Juice WRLD, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, and Nigeria’s own Rema, whose music helped shape his own sound. He began writing songs in 2019, with his debut track “Call” (since removed from DSPs) marking the start of his journey.
