About Tyler Edwards
Tyler Edwards began his musical journey in 2008 as a member of the South Carolina rock band I Anthem. The band released two EPs and an LP, with multiple tracks breaking into the Top 10 on Billboard’s Rock Charts and gaining features on MTV and NASCAR. In 2015, Edwards embarked on a solo career with his 6-song EP “Too Young for Love” and moved to Seattle, Washington. There, he built a strong grassroots following, consistently touring and selling out notable venues such as The Tractor Tavern, Barboza, and The Royal Room. He also shared the stage with national touring artists like Ian Noe, Will Hoge, Nicki Bluhm, and The Steel Wheels.
In 2017, Edwards released his crowd-funded debut full-length album, “A Few Good Hearts,” showcasing his independence and determination. On May 1st, 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic, he self-produced and recorded the EP “Sincerely, Montgomery.” This release and the subsequent singles have solidified Edwards’ status as a dedicated independent artist and songwriter. Now based outside of Nashville, Tennessee, Tyler released his sophomore album “A Falling Sky.” As Curious for Music notes, “Edwards is an effective communicator. He never needs to yell to get our attention. More often than not, he nearly whispers/sings his lyrics.
