What kind of music do you do?

We have been told we are like a revival of 90’s grunge, 2000’s Poppunk and 80’s Punk.

What is the most important song for you? What message do you want to convey to the listener?

I think that each of our songs play an importance to pink. One song though in particular called Falling Apart Again is heavily focused on depression and coping with depression. The rest of our songs I feel can hold an importance and a message to everyone of our fans. It gives them something to relate to.

Why should a listener who doesn’t know you listen to your music?

We have a very unique sound and have some very interesting and catchy songs. We blend genres of punk and rock music creating a unique punk music listening experience.

What are your future projects? Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

For 2025, we plan on releasing a new album, as well as recreating and refining our first EP “Sad Girl”. We also plan on releasing a single soon. We have started a festival called Punkzilla Festival which you can also find on social media (@punkzillafest), which is a traveling festival of all punk genres bands in hopes to connect artists to each other. It allows fans also to find fresh, new local and independent bands to follow and enjoy. In 2025 we will be shifting to allow those shows for us to take priority.

Tell our readers a funny episode that happened in your career as an artist.

There’s never a dull moment in Pink Maskerade. One time we had a gig at a place called the Matinee in Akron Ohio. A few of the members are no longer with us that participated that night, however it’s still funny. Our lead singer Ashley and bassist at the time, decided to order the special drink of the night. It was called, “Dirty Whore Bathwater. “ Our drummer at the time came up and asked what they were drinking and when they told him, he said “Excuse me?” He couldn’t believe his ears. Immediately after he told a patron of the bar that her drink looked good also and asked what she was having. The patron said, “A blue motherf*****.” We all laughed. The drummer said, “ Am I being pranked?” He had never heard either drunk name before. That had been one of the funniest moments. However, we never have a dull moment in Pink Maskerade. We love to have fun with each other and there’s always laughs to be shared.
