I’ve never done this before!?

That’s ok! You’re not alone!
If you have ANY questions regarding exporting your tracks / what to export / how to do it then feel free to message me and I’ll guide you through the process.

What are stems?

Stems are the individual recordings of each instrument, i.e the vocal track / guitar track / bass etc.

Should I process the tracks before sending them?

The dryer the better. I’ll add all the effects, so please bypass all of your EQ / Compression / Reverb etc before exporting the tracks.
You can always give me a rough mix if you have an idea of the effects that you want to hear.

What format should I deliver the stems in?

.WAV files, 24 bit 44.1 kHz.
16 bit is fine.

I only have a vocal and a stereo track of the instrumental.

That’s fine. In fact, some of the biggest names in rap / hip hop often work with just a stereo bounce of the instrumental.

Do I need to get my track mastered?

An unmastered track will sound significantly quieter when compared to any commercially released song. If you want to release your song on radio or streaming platforms, mastering is essential.
