DUALAUD – More than EDM

Interview with DUALAUD

Tell us about yourself, who are you and where do you come from?

A Dj and a Percussionist united by the same name and love for music. Two guys, two friends, two artists from Italy, connected in the soul by the rhythm and passion for electronic sound. A contrast between refinement, elegance, energy and chaos. We play with customized masks and suits.

How was your passion for music born? Who are your idols?

Our passion for music was born when we were children. We were born as a drummer and guitarist and played in different bands, until we created this crazy Electronic Dance Music duo with a huge live impact. Our musical influences are multiple and we are the result of all of them put together.

What kind of music do you do?

We play Electronic Dance Music using also percussions, creating original songs full of musical influences. Our live concert is not a normal live concert, our live concert is a full fledged SHOW, full of energy and with audience involvement. We create a sound and visual impact: our project must be listened to and seen at the same time.

What is the most important song for you? What message do you want to convey to the listener?

The song that represents the mood of this project is called “ANUBI”. The message is simple and direct: “Everybody dance, everybody jump, everybody clap, everybody start!” Check out the Official Music Video of our single “ANUBI” and turn up the volume: LET’S GO!

Why should a listener who doesnโ€™t know you listen to your music?

A listener who does not know us should listen to our songs because we produce original music and create unique live shows full of energy and fun. We always say “DUALAUD – More than EDM” because there is much more to see and discover.

What are your future projects? Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

Our desire is to share our music and our live shows with all those who want to have fun and feel a unique emotion. From now to the next few years we want to be able to achieve this desire as much as possible.

Tell our readers a funny episode that happened in your career as an artist.

Sometimes it happens that our percussionist breaks drumsticks while we are playing in a live show, it’s funny every time it happens the same way!
