Interview with Dopeamean

Tell us about yourself, who are you and where do you come from?

I’m a rapper from Columbus, Ga living in Denver, Co and loving it. Serving in the U.S. Army was one of my life highlights and I often miss it. Music is my passion and I work hard to be great at it. My love for rap music is far beyond my love for any other genre.

How was your passion for music born? Who are your idols?

I learned to love music from my step-father who owned thousands of records. Listen to different types of music was my favorite pass time as a child. I was inspired by artist like 2 PAC, Sisqo, Ludacris, Outcast, DMX, and the likes.

What kind of music do you do?

Making rap music is what I’m good at but I love to make different genres when I feel up to it.

What is the most important song for you? What message do you want to convey to the listener?

The most important song in my catalog is Blue-Faces and it just aims to engage the listener in deep thoughts. I want my listeners to be able to relate to me and connect in an intimate way with my music.

Why should a listener who doesn’t know you listen to your music?

Because the music I make is different and I focus on a high level of quality. You will get more then you bargained for every time you press the play button.

What are your future projects? Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

I’m working on a whole buck of singles set to release this month and next month. Five years from now I see myself making good music and continuing to grow my fan base.
