YTK JAY is a Hip-Hop artist from Pine Bluff Arkansas. He does a mixture of Rap, Pop, R&B and Punk Rock. He changes it up or either mixes them together on certain projects.

Tell us about yourself, who are you and where do you come from?

I’m 19 years old & I was born and raised in pine bluff Arkansas my real name is Jaylon Jamar Tyler I’m also an actor now

How was your passion for music born? Who are your idols?

my grandfather and grandmother they played & sang a lot of music when I was growing up so I loved it and I was drawn to it I knew it was meant for me honestly I had a mic in my had as young as 5 years old And my idols are DDG & Logan Henderson those guys are so talented I hope I get a chance to Collab with them one day soon

What kind of music do you do?

I do a mixture of rap/pop/R&b/Punk Rock I change it up or either mix them together on certain projects I’m an all around artist

What is the most important song for you? What message do you want to convey to the listener?

The most important song for me has to be my single off my project “Gym Class Story” it’s the a classic school love story where a girl and boy meet and they eventually get together and fall in love

Why should a listener who doesn’t know you listen to your music?

My music will resonate with you on different levels and bring you into the story and feel as if you we’re here in the studio with me creating the magic

What are your future projects? Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

I have some pop/Rnb projects I’m currently working on for future dates as we speak and I see myself five years from now on top of the music industry making great music traveling the world and having generational wealth

Tell our readers a funny episode that happened in your career as an artist.

My Funny episode I went live with an A&R from Republic Records and I rapped for him and I kept messing up I was so nervous but I eventually got it right I was so relieved honestly
