As a pop singer I entertain people with modern pop-songs. At the moment I have a new song out. The title is “Stadt aus Gold (City of Gold)”. This time I have chosen a modern and at the same time timeless Fox-Schlager, whose hook already starts with the intro, immediately catches the ear and is guaranteed to cause activity on the dancefloor.

Interview with Jürgen Pleinetti

Tell us about yourself, who are you and where do you come from?

As a native Rhinelander, born in Gelsenkirchen, raised in Dormagen it has finally moved me to the Upper Palatinate in Bavaria. There I live with my partner and her disabled brother and 3 dogs, 2 cats in complete isolation on a farm.

How was your passion for music born? Who are your idols?

An extraordinary curriculum vitae shapes an extraordinary person and musician: Jürgen Pleinetti gets serious! Born in the 1960s in western Germany, he grew up in Dormagen, driven by the joie de vivre of a Rhenish cheerful nature. Jürgen Pleinetti discovered his passion for music at an early age. Whether in the shower, in the bathtub or in a karaoke bar, this bundle of energy’s passion for the right sound has been a constant companion in his varied life since childhood. The serious side of life began for him as a skilled chemical worker, and led the Rhinelander to work as an everyday companion for dementia patients and on to jobs in the commercial sector. But no matter how varied his tasks, how different the jobs are, from call center agent to online shop operator. One thing surrounds Pleinetti like a shadow: his love of music. Encouraged by people who surround him and are important to him, Jürgen Pleinetti takes off. He recognizes what shapes his life and sets himself up professionally with his own home studio. In 2020 he finally follows the call of his innermost being, which leads him from the west to the south of the republic to Bavaria. There he meets the producer Fritz Rach from Straßkirchen, who presents him with a demo of “Ich will tanzen” and records his vocals. He then commissions video and music producer Florian Glötzl from Waldkirchen who turns the idea into a modern, danceable pop-song and produces a music video. The new summer singles, 2021 “Tanz mit mir den Rumba-Fox” and “Come on Board” were created in collaboration with the label Bertl’s Records from Waldkirchen, lyricist and artist manager Boris Fechner and media and music producer Florian Glötzl. The music videos were shot on Mallorca, Cala d’Or, on an exclusive yacht, on the beach and in a bar. Jürgen Pleinetti has arrived. His life path has led him to where his heart always wanted to see him: With music. Idols like Helene Fischer, Andrea Berg, Maite Kelly, Claudia Jung, Roland Kaiser, Jürgen Drews to name just a few.

What kind of music do you do?

modern POP Schlager

What is the most important song for you? What message do you want to convey to the listener?

This is clearly “Come on Board” It was created in the time of the pandemic, where we all had to live with restrictions and after the first coronal shocks should be a message to finally enjoy some cheerfulness, freedom and not to have to crawl further.

Why should a listener who doesn’t know you listen to your music?

I don’t settle on one style of song, I experiment in this direction and then in that direction again to see what has the most appeal to the listener.

What are your future projects? Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

Next up is a party hit, which will probably come out in November. In 5 years I would like to have already established myself in the hit scene.

Tell our readers a funny episode that happened in your career as an artist.

I got this year in the summer a package from a young attractive woman sent. Inside was an oval-shaped chocolate with the young woman’s face on it. Very beautifully done. There was a letter saying whether she did not look good enough to eat. In addition, there was a marriage proposal, even with a wedding date and an address of a divorce lawyer, if the marriage does not work. I still have to smile today.
