Interview with Quantzka

Tell us about yourself, who are you and where do you come from?

Hey everyone, I am Quantzka from Brazil but living in Argentina. I am a music producer, medical student and a fake virgo!. Lover of tattoes, sports, yoga, meditation and mystical topics!

How was your passion for music born? Who are your idols?

Since I was child, I ve been playing instruments, this passion has started when I was about 7 years old. Then when I was at highschool I have played in a band, and listenign to ghotic metal a lot, thatĀ“s where come from my melodic side on my songs I guess! But actually I ve been through many genres of music untill I finally find myself, since funk utill heavy metal! My Idols nowadays are Anyma, Jonas Saalbach, Ellke Kleijn

What kind of music do you do?

As a ghost producer I am ecletic, producing tech house, minimal, techno, tropical house and itĀ“s quit good because I donĀ“t get bored with just one genre . But as producer oficially, I produce melodic techno/house and also have a project called Divine Sounds which I make songs to meditate, study, sleep, binaural beats with specific frecuencies.

What is the most important song for you? What message do you want to convey to the listener?

Balancing the chakras because IĀ“ve got so many emotion to this song and also show the mystical side which is so present in my life. DonĀ“t have an specific message, itĀ“s about inspirations of what I am living at the moment! For example my song Psique itĀ“s about the ups and downs of our mind, Renascimento was inspired by the growing with difficult situations. So depends of the flow!

Why should a listener who doesnā€™t know you listen to your music?

When I produce a song, my goal itĀ“s always that somehow it awakens feelings and emotions from the listener, itĀ“s cheese but I wanna touch their heart! For me these kind of music are the ones that stay in memory forever. This is what I try to bring for my listeners and this is why thet should listen to it!

What are your future projects? Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

The last years I ve been only producing, but now my project is to be back as dj and play my own songs, I think this is a good way to spread them and also I love the feeling of djing and this contact with the public, bringing ideas to the studio. I know this is gonna be difficult because I am also a medical student but with balance, I hope I can do everyhting!
