Tell us about yourself, who are you and where do you come from?

My name is James Craig Supplee, known professionally as SPYDAWEB, I’m an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and CEO of my label SPYDAWEB Inc. Born on Oct 7th, 2002 (Age 20), in Denton, TX, later being adopted by my grandparents at a young age, and moving to Oklahoma at 11. Listeners recognize me for my unique voice, meaningful lyrics, and drive to be undeniable, Never staying in one lane, I represent the title of a “Multi-Genred Artist”, and I frequently hit on topics of love, mental health, and addiction.

How was your passion for music born? Who are your idols?

Have you ever felt unheard by the world, as though your words and emotions don’t carry any weight? For me, these feelings were the driving force and inspiration behind my becoming an artist. Influenced by artists such as Juice WRLD, Iann Dior, The Kid Laroi, Panic! At the Disco, Eminem, Twenty One Pilots, and many more; Come along and witness a dive into my mental through my music. My goal is to spread awareness to the feelings we have when we feel completely alone, and aim to let you know there’s someone on your side, that we are in it together.

What kind of music do you do?

I enjoy creating multiple genres, Focusing on a Hip-Hop, Pop-Punk sound, but often step into other lanes such as R&B, Pop, Rock, Trap, Drill and so on.

What is the most important song for you? What message do you want to convey to the listener?

Withdrawals, I poured all of my pain from my first major loss into that track. “Fell in love with the thought of forever, so much so that it became a drug, Cupid got a gun pointed at my chest, what the **** did I do to get robbed by the plug?”

Why should a listener who doesn’t know you listen to your music?

Catchy Hooks, hard verses, clever wordplay, and pure emotion and drive, I bring a vibe that you’ll never find anywhere else.

What are your future projects? Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

DEAD ON ARRIVAL is set to release April 19th, 2023. This will be my first major project! In 5 years I see myself selling out Madison Square Garden. Manifestation.
