Interview with BEVIxPlanett

Tell us about yourself, who are you and where do you come from?

My name is BEVIxPlanett, I’m a rapper/singer from Columbus, Ohio and I like bacon cheeseburgers.

How was your passion for music born? Who are your idols?

Well, I’ve always had a love & passion for music as far as I can remember. But when I really became indulged with music was around quarantine in like March of 2020. I had just started to develop my own taste in music, and on top of having nothing to do I quite literally said “frick it” and bought a $20 mic and a laptop. The people who had the most influence on my music would be The Kid LAROI, Freddie Mercury, Juice WRLD, Tyler The Creator, and OutKast.

What kind of music do you do?

To be honest, I like doing everything. I love to experiment with different things, because that is makes music fun to me. But if I had to put myself in a box, I’d say I make Pop-rap music. What makes me stand out from all the rest is the mood in which I sing. I always try to incorporate positivity in my music. Of course, not all of my life is positive but it’s infinity times better to spread positivity than negativity.

What is the most important song for you? What message do you want to convey to the listener?

The most important song I’ve ever made is going to my latest release “Living Fast”. In the song I have a line that goes “Living fast life’s a blast, everything that’s negative we left it in the past”. Again, I love spreading positivity throughout my music and I believe that one line sums up the whole song perfectly.

Why should a listener who doesnโ€™t know you listen to your music?

I have the freshest tunes on the block baby. Nah but in all seriousness, I make music to boost your mood, spread positivity, and to build connections with the people who do listen to my music. I use my music to bring people together like a family in a way, and I use my music to make sure everyone knows that they belong.

What are your future projects? Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

Ooo I like this is a spicy question. I am really hoping to drop my debut album either by the end of this year or beginning of next. But let me tell you, putting together an album is no easy task (hehe) I’ve been locked in working man. In 5 year’s time , I see myself touring America, having multi-platinum records, a couple Grammys, and overall, having a very successful career & positive mindset.

Tell our readers a funny episode that happened in your career as an artist.

Hehehe I’ve been waiting to share this. So, around this time last year I had made it very public that I was a mega fan of the rapper “$NOT”. I’d like casually mention him on my story for no reason whatsoever; but anyways, he puts on his story a phone number that his fans can use text him, which I was very excited to see. So I text him like once every day saying stuff like “new song is fire bro!” That goes on for a bit, then one day I text him a video with a guy covered in powdered sugar, eating spicy Cheetos saying to the camera; “You got games on your phone!?” and he responds with 3 of the laughing so hard I’m crying emojis, and I remember that making my week. Shout out $NOT man, that guy’s a wonderful person.
