My music is very relatable, since it is about personal experiences that occur in every day life to many people in the world.

Tell us about yourself, who are you and where do you come from?

I’m Laura Bazzucchi, aka Laura Welle a pop singer-songwriter from Italy. My latest single ‘Chewing Gum’ dropped May 6th and it grabbed the attention of Rihanna’s biggest TikTok fandom called Rihanna Today. The admin immediately fell in love with my song and used it on a video which counts now more than 140,000 views. My song is now close to 10,000 streams on Spotify. On June 10th English producer Paul Sawyer released an EP of 7 different versions of a song written and sung by me, called ‘Burning’. The remixed version by English dj and producer Russ Pattison, aka Darkersound reached #1 on Beatport (Electronic music).

How was your passion for music born? Who are your idols?

I’ve been listening to British, American and Canadian music since I was a child. My top 3 idols are: Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury and David Bowie. For what concerns today music: Sia, Post Malone, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, Lady Gaga, Jessie Reyez and many more!

What kind of music do you do?

Pop music with lots of influences

What is the most important song for you? What message do you want to convey to the listener?

‘Chewing Gum’ for now! It is about society that chews up and then throws us away. Whatever our job is, whatever our place in society, we are not treated as human beings but as chewing gum.

Why should a listener who doesn’t know you listen to your music?

My music is very relatable, since it is about personal experiences that occur in every day life to many people in the world. Also, it’s very catchy and radio friendly.

What are your future projects? Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

My goal is to reach more and more people with my music and go on tour
