Kapusko presents: “Mondlicht”
A brand new single that highlights the artist’s blend of hip-hop and R&B sounds

Kapusko’s music immediately strikes for its combination of energy, flow, and melody. “Mondlicht” is no exception. The single features excellent production aesthetics, with an instrumental that feels balanced and punchy. The song features lyrics in German. However, you do not need to speak the language in order o immediately connect with the vibe and flow of this arrangement. The track is built on a soothing atmospheric soundscapes, featuring warped drones and lo-fi melodies. It’s almost like being underwater and listening to the sounds of beautiful music, blurred by the waves of the ocean. Soon after, a trap-inspired beat kicks in, taking the beat to a floaty and mellow vibe. The vocals have a soothing and ethereal vibe that matches the music as well. The instrumental soundscape on the track is very dense. Yet, it allows a lot of wiggle room for the vocals to unfold and stand out. When it comes to hip-hop music, storytelling can be a key component of the concept, and this is definitely the case for “Mondlicht”. The song is entertaining and hooky, but also personal, and easy to relate to.
